Sharing Saturday

Welcome to the second edition of Sharing Saturday live from the Crew studio! My husband snapped this shot of me working on my most recently completed bear...the bear who has no hair. I will have to tell you about him soon when it's time to find him a new loving home. For now, he is keeping me company here in the studio as I work on a new bear (with hair this time).

    1. Poor hairless bear is waiting on me to finish up his adornment so I can introduce him. Good thing he's patient, as all sweet bears are. The hairy bear I'm working on is all sewn, and I'm working on fancy feet. It's been a learning experience!

    1. Thanks, Joanne. I love how his blue works so well against the jeans I'm wearing, and the lighting is great. You can tell I search for natural daylight to work in so I can see better.

  5. What a sweet picture of you and your bear. Sometimes when I am working on a bear I wonder to myself how many others are bent over studiously stitching a teddy bear. It's neat to see one of us "in action." Take care, Vicki

    1. I work like this an awful lot, trying to sit in the sunlight so I can see the best. It's nice to think that others do this, too. Too bad we can't all just visit each other and stitch our bears together! So glad you like the picture!

  7. Such a lovely photo, Debora. If I tried sewing sitting on the floor, my legs would 'go to sleep' and I don't think I'd be able to get up again! Thank goodness for comfy sewing chairs!

    1. I have found that sitting a long time on the floor means I'm stiff when I get up, but I just can't stop. I think it's a throwback to my childhood, and I just can't grow up completely. :o)
